At UBT one ECTS consists of 30 hours workload.
Most of our semesters consist of 12 - 14 weeks of class time.
Depending on the form of the course, different in class hours are possible.
Seminars for Literary studies for examply often have an outcome of 4 ECTS at the end of the semester.
Students will have to sit through two hours of classwork per week and prepare texts and presentations at home. Examinations are conducted at the end of the seminar and sometimes with presentations in the course of the semester.
